Making Bones Talk Since 1993...
For close to 30 years, I have specialized in the analysis of faunal remains recovered from prehistoric and historic archaeological sites. It has been a privilege to work on over 80 different projects with over 30 institutions and individuals.
My clients have included archaeological firms specializing in CRM projects, museums, colleges and universities, the National Park Service, state offices of archaeology, and private individuals. I have analyzed sites from along the East Coast, Midwest, and the French Polynesian Islands. The sites have dated from the 1400s through the early nineteenth century.
The diversity of sites I have investigated include Native American camp sites, contact period Native American forts, the first English settlements in the New World, military sites from the American Revolution, large plantation sites, slave related sites, frontier sites, middling farmer sites, urban development sites, Civil War encampments and prisons, and temple sites located in the French Polynesian islands.
My goals as a faunal analyst are to provide you with high-quality faunal identifications at a reasonable rate and prepare for you an informative faunal report to expand on the interpretations of the site they represent.
